Press any key to terminate the test. The IAD displays the POTS Diagnostics
menu.

Continue with other tests, or press Escape twice to return to the Main menu.
On/Off Hook Test
The On/Off Hook test reports the hook state of each voice port line. To
perform an On/Off Hook test, follow the steps below.

“O”
on the POTS Diagnostics menu to select On/Off Hook Test. The
IAD displays the status of the test as it runs in real time:

Press Enter to terminate the test. The IAD displays the POTS Diagnostics
menu.
The following tests listed on the POTS Diagnostics menu (Figure 7.3) are
reserved for Paradyne engineers:
I. Infineon Codec Test
C. Select Voice Loop Back Test Channel (2208 Only)
V. Send/Receive Voice
M. Quick Voice Loop Back Test (2208 Only)
N. Burning Voice Loop Back Test (2208 Only)
