Fase 2: Installare il giunto di scarico (solo unità
pompa di calore)
Prima di bullonare l'unità esterna in posizione, è
necessario installare il giunto di scarico nella parte
inferiore dell'unità. Si noti che ci sono due diversi tipi di
giunti di scarico a seconda del tipo di unità esterna.
Se il giunto di scarico viene fornito con una
guarnizione in gomma
(vedi
Fig. A
), effettuare le
seguenti operazioni:
1. Montare il sigillo di gomma all'estremità del giunto di
scarico che si collegherà all'unità esterna.
2. Inserire il giunto di scarico nel foro nella casseruola
di base dell'unità.
3. Ruotare il giunto di scarico di 90 gradi fino a quando
non fa clic nel punto di fronte alla parte anteriore
dell'unità.
4. Collegare un'estensione del tubo di scarico (non
incluso) al giunto di scarico per reindirizzare l'acqua
dall'unità durante la modalità di riscaldamento.
Se il giunto di scarico non viene fornito con una
guarnizione in gomma (vedi Fig. B ), effettuare le
seguenti operazioni:
1. Inserire il giunto di scarico nel foro nella casseruola
di base dell'unità. Il giunto di scarico farà clic al
punto.
2. Collegare un'estensione del tubo di scarico (non
incluso) al giunto di scarico per reindirizzare l'acqua
dall'unità durante la modalità di riscaldamento.

IN CLIMI FREDDI
Nei climi freddi, assicurarsi che il tubo di scarico
sia il più verticale possibile per garantire un rapido
drenaggio dell'acqua. Se l'acqua si scarica troppo
lentamente, può congelare nel tubo e inondare l'unità.

Outdoor Unit
Installation

IN COLD CLIMATES
In cold climates, make sure that the drain hose
is as vertical as possible to ensure swift water
drainage. If water drains too slowly, it can
freeze in the hose and flood the unit.
The outdoor unit can be anchored to the
ground or to a wall-mounted bracket with
bolt(M10). Prepare the installation base of the
unit according to the dimensions below.

Outdoor Unit Types and Specifications
Step 2: Install drain joint
(Heat pump unit only)
Before bolting the outdoor unit in place, you must
install the drain joint at the bottom of the unit.
Note that there are two different types of drain
joints depending on the type of outdoor unit.
If the drain joint comes with a rubber seal
(see Fig. A ), do the following:
1.
Fit the rubber seal on the end of the drain joint
that will connect to the outdoor unit.
2.
Insert the drain joint into the hole in the base
pan of the unit.
3.
Rotate the drain joint 90° until it clicks in place
facing the front of the unit.
4.
Connect a drain hose extension (not included)
to the drain joint to redirect water from the
unit during heating mode.
If the drain joint doesn’t come with a rubber
seal
(see
Fig. B
), do the following:
1.
Insert the drain joint into the hole in the base
pan of the unit. The drain joint will click in
place.
2.
Connect a drain hose extension (not included)

If the drain joint doesn’t come with a rubber seal (see Fig.B),
do the following:
1.
Insert the joint onto the hole located on the base of the
external unit.
2.
Turn the joint 80° until you hear the click and position
it frontally.
3.
Connect a drain tube to the joint (not supplied) and
direct it into a catch pit.
In cold climates, make sure the drain tube is as
vertical as possible to ensure quick drainage of
water. If water drains too slowly, it may freeze in
the tube and damage the unit.
7.3.4 - Step 3: Anchor outdoor unit
The outdoor unit can be anchored to the ground or to a wall-mounted bracket with bolt (M10). Prepare the
installation base of the unit according to the dimensions below.

The 24K indoor unit can only be connected with
an A system. If there are two 24K indoor units,
they can be connected with A and B systems.

Notes On Drilling Hole In Wall
You must drill a hole in the wall for the
refrigerant piping, and the signal cable that will
connect the indoor and outdoor units.
1. Determine the location of the wall hole
based on the location of the outdoor unit.
2. Using a 65-mm (2.5”) core drill, drill a hole
in the wall.
NOTE:
When drilling the wall hole, make
sure to avoid wires, plumbing, and other
sensitive components.
3. Place the protective wall cuff in the hole.
This protects the edges of the hole and
helps seal it when you finish the
installation process.
