Startup diagnostics overview

Introduction

This section contains procedures for interpreting the startup diagnostics on
the 1001rp server.

Types of startup diagnostic

The following types of startup diagnostics are available on the server:

Basic hardware check (LEDs, and so on)

Power-On Self-Test (POST) diagnostics

SCSI controller diagnostics or RAID controller diagnostics

These diagnostics are available at initial system startup, or after any 1001rp
server reset.
