gain access to TriCaster’s virtual set technology called
LiveSet
.
Actually, if you’ve been following along, you have already used a LiveSet – a simple one, named
“
A over B
” (Figure 69), which is the default.

As its name implies,
A over B
simply produces a composite of the video source you select as
Input A
displayed on top of
Input B
. In cases where
LiveMatte
is active for Input A, or if Input A
has an alpha channel (as might be the case, for example, for a 32bit image file), Input B will show
through transparent areas in the composite result. We saw how that worked in back around
Figure 67.
