SD ANALOG CONNECTIONS
Figure 107
As discussed back in Section 3.6.2, TriCaster’s three VIDEO OUT connector rows may output SD,
HD, or both
simultaneously
.
Row 1 and 2 video output
always
matches the session format.
Row 3
always
outputs SD video.
For HD sessions, HD video output is in the same format (HD 720p, or HD 1080i).
Consequently the four connectors in each row are configured as HD SDI and HD
Component (Y, Pr and Pb).
Similarly, for SD sessions Rows 1 and 2 output SD video. (If the session is 4:3, output is
also 4:3. When the session is 16:9, video output is also 16:9.)
Some options are available for SD analog output. Analog output on Row 1 is always component,
but you may select between
Com Y/C
or
Component
output for Rows 2 and 3. For HD
sessions, Row 2 outputs HD, just like Row 1 – so in that case, the analog connection option is only
available for output Row 3 (which is
always
SD). Choosing
Component
or
Com Y/C
results in the output connectors in the corresponding row being configured as follows:
BNC 1 (SDI)
BNC 2 (Y)
BNC 3 (Pb)
BNC 4 (Pr)
Component
SDI
Y

Com Y/C
