Locating the breakaway panel

5.

Install the device (see “Installing a 5 1/4-Inch Device”).

Replacing the Front Panel

If a 5 1/4-inch device has been removed from your system,
you need to replace the blank panel before replacing the
front panel. The blank panel covers the opening previously
used by the device.

Replace the front panel as follows:

1.

Replace the blank panel if necessary. Press the blank
panel into the inside of the front panel, aligning the panel
with the empty slot. Press the panel into the slot until the
four tabs lock the panel in place.

2.

Align the four front panel tabs with the holes in the front
of the system unit.

3.

Evenly press the front panel into position until the tabs
lock the panel in place.
