Upgrading Your System
Front Panel
The plastic front panel assembly is a one piece assembly. The appropriate removable filler panels
are attached to the corresponding EMI shields. If you are installing peripheral devices in the
external bays above the 3.5-inch floppy disk drive, you must remove the front cover along with the
corresponding filler panel and EMI shield.
Removing the Front Panel
Note:
The front panel is secured with six locking tabs.
1.
Power off the system and remove the side panels as described earlier in this chapter.
2.
Remove the front panel by carefully pulling it off the front of the system chassis. Use an even
amount of pressure around the edges of the panel.
