Upgrading Your System

When adding IDE devices, such as hard disk, valid configurations are:
Connector
Device
Secondary
CD-ROM (master)
HD3 or Tape (slave)
Primary
HD1 (master)
HD2 (slave)
If you are adding or removing a SCSI hard disk device, consider the following:

The system uses single-ended SCSI host adapters and supports single-ended or low Voltage
Drives (LVD) drives.
n
The hard disk SCSI address assignment is:

The SCSI cable is terminated, therefore remove any SCSI device termination from the hard disk
drives before they are installed.
