Upgrading Your System
Removing the Fan
1.
Power off the system and remove the left side panel as described earlier in this chapter.
2.
Remove the hard disk drive bay as described earlier in this chapter.
3.
Tag and disconnect the fan cable connected to the system board.
4.
Remove the four screws that secure the fan to the chassis rear panel.

5.
Remove the fan from the system.
