Code No.94 Side impact sensor (R.H.) power supply circut
system Probable cause
This diagnosis code is output if the power supply voltage of the side impact sensor
(R.H.) drops below the rated value for a continuous period of 5 seconds or more.
However, code No.94 will be automatically cleared and the SRS warning lamp will
switch off if the condition returns normal.
D Malfunction of wiring harnesses or connectors
D Malfunction of side impact sensor (R.H.)
D Malfunction of SRS-ECU

Replace the side impact sensor (R.H.).
OK
Replace the SRS-ECU.
Measure at side impact sensor (R.H.) connector C-01*1, C-32*2.
D Disconnect the connector, and measure at the harness side
connector.
D Connect the battery (-) terminal.
D Ignition switch: ON
D Voltage between terminal 1 and body earth
OK:
9 V or more
Check the following connectors:
C-01*1, C-32*2, C-33, B-16
OK
Check trouble symptoms.

Check the harness wire between the side impact sensor (R.H.)
and SRS-ECU.
Code No.96 Side impact sensor (R.H.) communication
system Probable cause
This diagnosis code is output if communication between the side impact sensor (R.H.)
and the SRS-ECU is abnormal
D Malfunction of wiring harnesses or connectors
D Malfunction of side impact sensor (R.H.)
D Malfunction of SRS-ECU

Replacement the side impact sensor (R.H.).
OK
Replace the SRS-ECU.
MUT- II Self-diag code
D Replace the side impact sensor (R.H.) with the side impact
sensor (L.H.) and then install them.
D Connect the battery (-) terminal.
D Erase diagnosis code memory.
Will the code No.96 disappear and show No.93?
