Description of Functions
Function Permissions Description
Motion control main menu is a directional pad for jogging and coarse
adjustment. The button can be toggled for user defined fine
adjustment. The icon will become gold when the menu is active, grey
when another menu is active.
Allows users to move to an absolute position as defined by user. If
pressed at any position other than the home position, the current
coordinates will be populated within their respective axes.
Sends end effector to home position (0,0,0,0) or in other words, the
end effector fully retracted into the head, the head positioned to the left
of the gantry, the top plate positioned in the forward position, and the
end effector graduation marks facing the operator.
Speed settings allow the user to customize speeds for each axis.
1-100 mm/s for the X & Y axes and 1-200 mm/s for the Transition
speed. The Z-axis to a maximum of 1-80 mm/s & Θ can be adjusted
from 1-100°/s. The icon will become gold when the menu is active,
grey when another menu is active. If the system does not detect any
mouse movement for 10 seconds, the system will default to the motion
control main menu.
Offset allows users to offset any previously programmed profiles in the
X, Y, and Z axes. This offset will shift the entire program in the axes
specified.
Tip cleaning parameters consist of tip cleaning movement profile, dot
cleaning interval, line solder cleaning interval, and cleaning profile start
location. The icon will become gold when the menu is active, grey
when another menu is active.
Camera zoom menu allows users to digitally zoom up to 3X the original
image size. There is a directional pad for image adjustment, and a
restore button to revert to 1X zoom.
Nitrogen button toggles the flow of nitrogen on and off when nitrogen is
connected to the unit (sold separately.)
