Parameters
This command has four parameters.
NOTE:
The interval value is a fixed length amount of time. This interval is
not a rolling window interval.
name
The name of the fencing policy.
typeNumber
This must be entered as a number that
corresponds to an entry in the table
shown below.
limit
The count of fencing violations that must
occur within the specified period in order
for a port to be automatically disabled.
Acceptable values are in the range of
1-255.
You may also enter
default
for this
argument, which will set the default limit
value for this fencing policy type.
period
The number of seconds in which the
violation count must equal or exceed the
threshold limit in order for a port to be
fenced.
You may also enter
default
for this
argument, which will set the default
period for this fencing policy type.
