Information about this Manual
Congratulations on choosing this high quality and highly efficient SmartDGA
®
system.
This manual provides important information about the system and can be used as a work of
reference for installing, operating, and maintaining the SmartDGA system. It is important that you
carefully read the information contained in this manual and follow all safety procedures before
installing or operating the instrument.
This manual assumes you have a working knowledge of the Windows™ Operating System and its
conventions; including how to use a mouse, standard menus and commands, and how to open,
save, and close files. For help with any of these functions, refer to the documentation that came
with your computer.

System Requirements
To operate the SmartDGA instruments you will need to use the DGA Viewer
TM
software, which
requires either a PC or an
i
Core
TM
controller installed and connected through Ethernet or RS485 to
the EZHub device. If using a PC to operate the DGA Viewer software, ensure it is a Windows-based
computer with the following (minimum) components:
•
Processor: 1 GhZ, 32-bit or 64-bit
•
Operating System: Windows XP Embedded, Windows Server 2003, Windows 7, Windows 8,
and Windows Server 2008
•
Hard Disk Memory: 100 MB for installation files, 10 MB for normal use
•
System Memory: 512 MB or more
•
