Note:
Before beginning the installation process, ensure that there are no leaks and that
all the valves are turned off on the transformer and/or LTC.
Note:
Examples and pictures in this manual use a test set-up to display configurations
and installation. Actual installation will vary on location and setup of valves.
4.1
Single Valve (VA-1)
The single valve (part number VA-1) is intended for installation on the bottom/drain of the
transformer. Oil is drawn out of the bottom drain valve and returned to the same region. This
option is intended for use in situations where separate points for oil sampling and return are not
available.
Note:
This mounting approach has inherent limitations and risks and should only be used
when the VA-0 and VA-2 options are not viable.
