2. Select the connection type you are using for your system and click Next > .
If using RS485 , select the correct COM port (when using the i Core, this is always COM2)
from the drop down. If you are using a PC and do not know the COM port associated with
the RS485 converter, start with COM1 and use trial and error until you find the correct COM.
If using Ethernet , select the appropriate IP address for the EZHub. The default EZHub IP
Address is 192.168.0.8 and EZHub ID is 48.
Note: If using Ethernet and a personal computer in a docking station, connect the
Ethernet cable in the docking station’s Ethernet port.
Note: If you wish to turn off the animations used throughout the DGA Commissioning
Tool, uncheck the Use Animations checkbox.
3. The software will attempt to locate the SmartDGA EZHub unit. If it is unsuccessful, check
your connections and retry. If still unsuccessful, please check your connections and try again.
