SmartDGA System Installation

Note:

DGA Viewer supports Modbus protocol on a PC. DNP3 and IEC require an

Core to

run DGA Viewer software.

Serial (RS485) Connection

If using RS485 with an

Core, use the Phoenix 3-pin (EZHub PN 47-1408) and Phoenix 5-pin (

Core

PN 47-1303) connectors.

Phoenix 3-pin connector (for EZHub connector)

To connect RS485 to the iCore:

Locate the 3-pin connector (PN 47-1408) shipped with the EZHub and the 5-pin connector
(PN 47-1303) shipped with the

Core.

Use a customer-provided connection cable and the included crimp pins to terminate the

ends of the cable for the EZHub and

Core.

Insert the 3-pin connector into the EZHub RS485 OUT port and the 5-pin connector into the

Core SERIAL (RS485) port.
