Power Supply Wiring
No input power cable is provided with the SmartDGA EZHub controller. However, the connector
and pins are provided.
Note:
The EZHub requires 90 to 264 Volts AC, 127 VDC to 370 VDC, 47-63 Hz,
2.5 A max. Use size 14 AWG wire for the included crimps and connectors to bring power
to the EZHub. We recommend a power cable with the following characteristics: AWG 14,
CU type TFFN or MTW or gasoline and oil resistant II.
Note:
Each EZHub must have a 10 A circuit breaker for system isolation and protection
(customer-provided).
Warning:
Exercise proper electrical procedures when wiring the electrical input power
connectors to ensure complete insulation of electrical conductors.

Route the EZHub power cable to the SmartDGA EZHub location.

Once the cable has been routed, cut the cable to the appropriate length and connect. The
AC/DC pin connections are as follows:

Wire the ground to the system’s grounding terminal on the bottom of the unit using the
Blue Lug Ring (PN 95-1970).
Relay Outputs
There are four optional relay outputs for status, caution, warning, or alarm. Use of these is optional
and they may be used to connect to things such as SCADA systems, alarms, etc. Configuration of the
settings and thresholds for using these relays is done with the DGA Viewer software. Refer to the
SmartDGA Software Manual.
Note:
Relays are intended for enunciation use, not for control purposes.
The connectors and pins are provided, but wires are not.
