9. Remove the protective cap from the 1/8” Bleed Valve (PN 90-2395) and save for future use.
Attach the bleed valve to the open BLEED port on the adapter. Be sure to tape, grease, and
tighten.
10. Thread and secure the completed dual valve assembly into the drain valve or previously
installed NPT reducer. Be sure to tape, grease, and tighten with wrench.
11. If needed, attach a SS tee to the top/fill valve.
12. If needed, attach 3/8” reducer to the top/fill valve.
13. Install a 3/8” Connector to the top/fill valve or reducer.
14. Attach 3/8” stainless steel tubing from the end of the outlet port to up near the top/fill
valve. Attach the 3/8” Female Branch Tee to the stainless steel tubing.
Caution: When the oil level is above the top/fill valve, install the 3/8” Female Branch Tee
and 1/4"Bleed Valve as close as possible to the top/fill valve where the oil is returned to.
Whenever the oil level is above this return valve point it is possible for air to enter the
transformer which creates the risk of transformer damage. Placing the bleed valve as
close as possible to the return point and purging the line before opening the top/fill
valve will minimize the potential amount of air. Observe safety procedures when
accessing valves within proximity of live electrical lines.
15. Remove the protective cap from the 1/4" bleed valve (PN 99-10160) and save for future use.
Be sure to tape and grease. Attach the bleed valve to the tee.
