Insert tray service check

Check connector J9 on the RIP board for the following
voltages and grounds.
Pins 2, 9, 15, 20, 21 - GND
Pins 10, 16, 17, 18, 23 - +5V
Do the voltages and ground readings approximately
match the table?
Go to step 9.
Go to step 8.

Replace the RIP board. POR the machine into
Diagnostics mode.
Did this fix the problem?
Problem solved.

Replace the UICC. POR the machine into Diagnostics
mode.

or broken parts that would prevent it from being
installed properly, or move around in the printer. Are
there loose or damaged parts on the tray?
