ATTENTION!
The recirculation mode can be
turned on only for a short time, as
fresh air does not enter the pas-
senger compartment; air quality
becomes poor because of peo-
ple's breathing. This can lead to
drowse of the driver and passen-
gers.
Cost-effective operation
of the climatic system
Actuating the climatic system
compressor is carried out with the
vehicle engine, so its operation in the
air cooling mode effects fuel con-
sumption. Where possible to reduce
time of using the air conditioner, you
must follow these recommendations:
– at high air temperature in the
passenger compartment before driv-
ing it is necessary to air it, opening
the windows or doors for a while;
– to improve air cooling efficiency
when switching on the cooling func-
tion always close the windows and
hatches;
– if comfort interior air tempera-
ture can be achieved without switch-
ing on the refrigeration unit, it is
preferable to use the ventilation
mode.
Maximal cooling
Used for the most intensive air
cooling in the passenger compart-
ment in hot weather or after long
storage of the vehicle in the sun:
1. Air the passenger compart-
ment, for this slightly open the win-
dows and doors for a short time.
2. Turn handle 2 counter-clock-
wise to the extreme left position of
the blue area.
3. Set handle 4 with its mark in
front of symbol . Nozzles 1 and 4
(see Fig. 42) on the instrument panel
should be open.
4. Turn on the maximum speed of
the climatic system fan, setting han-
dle 1 (see Fig. 43) to position «4».
5. Switch on the air conditioner,
pressing button 6 with symbol .
Check light indicator on the button
will light green during all the opera-
tion of the air conditioner.
6. Turn on the recirculation mode,
for this press button 3 with symbol
.
ATTENTION!
Recirculation mode can be en-
abled only for a short time, as
fresh air is not supplied to the
passenger compartment, air
quality becomes poor because of
people's breathing. This can lead
to drowse of the driver and pas-
sengers.
When the desired temperature
level is achieved in the passenger
compartment, by rotating
handles 2
and 1 , you can select the optimal
comfort mode in the passenger
compartment.
In the cooling mode it is not
recommended:
– to set the interior air tempera-
ture with a difference from outside air
temperature of more than 10-12
0 С,
especially for short trips in the urban
cycle;
– to direct cooled air flow to the
side of the head, open skin areas,
since it can lead to hypothermia and
subsequent disease;
– to direct cooled air flow to the
windshield, due to the big difference
in temperature it can cause misting.
ATTENTION!
Turning on the air conditioning
system when driving in highlands
or heavy traffic conditions with
a trailer can cause overheating
of the engine.
Follow the coolant temperature
alarm. If it indicates engine over-
