TAILGATE
Tailgate is unlocked by turning the
key in the lock cylinder clockwise
(Fig. 27).
In the design variant the
tailgate is opened by pressing the
button
in the remote control
console or from the passenger com-
partment with the switch located on
the left side of the instrument panel
(Fig. 28).
For the correct work of «button
lock» system in «norm» version it is
necessary to press the tailgate open-
ing button for not less than 1-2 sec-
onds.
The function is not used for «stan-
dard» version.
With the tailgate opened and
external lights switched on the lug-
gage compartment is lighted with the
lamp.
In the design variant luggage
compartment is lighted with the lamp
if the tailgate is opened and exterior
lights are off.
Warning
The tailgate is a source of
increased risk of injury. There-
fore, when closing the bonnet, be
extremely careful, especially
when children are near it.
ATTENTION!
Do not use the key as a handle
for opening and closing the tail-
gate, it can cause damage to the
key.
