– remove the socket with the bulb
from the headlight housing;
– turn the bulb counterclockwise
until it stops, by pressing it;
– remove the bulb from the socket.
The installation of the new bulb
should be carried out in reverse or-
der.
Rear light
Replacing the bulbs in the rear
light for the «hatchback» vehicle
(Fig. 62а):
– open the tailgate (see the sec-
tion «Tailgate»);
– loosen two rear light bolts from
the side of the tailgate;
– applying force, pull the rear light
and take out mounting studs of the
rear light holders;
– pull the rear light from the body
and remove the socket with a faulty
bulb;
– remove the bulb from the socket
pressing it and turning it counter-
clockwise until it stops.
After installing a new bulb assem-
bly and installation of the rear light
should be carried out in reverse
order.
Replacing the bulbs in the rear
light for the «station wagon» vehi-
cle (Fig. 62b):
– open the tailgate (see the sec-
tion «Tailgate»);
– open the hatch in the side trim;
– disconnect terminal block 1 of
the rear light from the vehicle wiring
harness;
– remove three rear light nuts;
– throw out the rear light of en-
gagement with the striker plate;
– pull the rear light from the body
and remove the socket with a faulty
bulb;
– turn the socket with the bulb that
requires replacement, counter-
clockwise and remove it from the
rear light housing;
– remove the bulb from the socket
slightly pressing it and turning it
counter-clockwise;
– insert a new bulb into the sock-
et, pressing and turning it clockwise.
After replacing the bulb assembly
and installation of the rear light
should be carried out in reverse
order.
