not leave the key in the ignition
switch for a long time.
Do not open the doors sharply. Do
not keep doors opened when stop-
ping at strong wind, to avoid deform-
ing the front edges of doors.
In winter, when a layer of ice or
snow on drop windows makes it diffi-
cult to roll up and down them, do not
apply a force when rotating the han-
dle, so as not to damage the window-
lift mechanism. To avoid a failure of
power windows it is necessary to
clean the windows of ice and snow.
Operation of a new car
During break-in of a new car until
it runs the first 2,000 km:
– after covering the first thousand
of kilometres check wheel bolt tight-
ening and, if necessary, tighten;
– when driving do not exceed the
speed of 110 km / h and the engine
speed of 3500 min
-1
;
– timely, in accordance with road
conditions, put into higher gears in
the gearbox, avoiding overloading of
the engine;
– do not tow a trailer or other vehi-
cle;
– driving modes – sudden start-
ing, including starting with the hand-
brake on, turn while skidding front
wheels at maximum engine speed –
is not allowed because it causes
damage to the differential.
After running of the first 2000 km,
you can smoothly increase the
engine speed and vehicle speed.
Warning
The operation of new tires,
brake pads and discs, clutch is
optimized only after their running-
in (grinding). Therefore, for the
first 500 km, drive smoothly and
pick up moderate speed. If during
further operation these compo-
nents are replaced, follow the
guidelines for run-in once more.
Preparing the vehicle for driving
ATTENTION!
Before coming out of the
garage or parking space, check
technical condition of the vehicle.
To do this:
1. Check and adjust air pressure
in the tires (see Table 2 in the section
«Tires and wheels»).
2. Check oil level in the crankcase,
and if necessary adjust it.
3. Check levels of coolant, brake
and washer fluids and if necessary,
adjust them.
4. Check bulbs of exterior lights
for normal operation and clean them
if necessary.
5. Check wiping system for nor-
mal operation.
6. Check mirrors, seats and seat
belts for proper installation.
7. Check primary braking system
(no failure of the brake pedal) and
parking braking system (handbrake
lever lock) for normal operation.
If there are traces of oils and fluids
under the vehicle, they mean that its
components and assemblies are not
sealed. In this case, you must con-
tact any certified SSNE for trou-
bleshooting.
ATTENTION!
In time repair detected trou-
