Child seat installation with ISOFIX
system and mounting of ISOFIX
upper safety belt
Y our vehicle is equipped with
fastener system ISOFIX, located
on rear seats, which allow to
install child restraints with fas-
tener ISOFIX and meet require-
ments of European standard ЕСЕ
R44 (for children, with weight less
than 18 kg).
Fastener system ISOFIX consists
of two lower supports ISOFIX and a
support for upper safety belt ISOFIX.
Lower supports ISOFIX, joined by
appropriate holder of child restraint
ISOFIX, are located at the bottom of
rear backrest seat.
Their position is marked on the
back by round pictogram . Before
attachment of child restraint fastener
ISOFIX is necessary to release the
zone of lower supports ISOFIX by
placing of rear safety belts’ locks at
the junction line of seat cushion and
rear backrest seat.
The support for upper safety belt
ISOFIX is located at the bottom of rear
backrest seat at the side of luggage
compartment. After fixing of upper
safety belt ISOFIX to regulate its ten-
sion according to manufacturer’s
instruction of child restraint ISOFIX.
Selecting child restraint ISOFIX is
necessary to use information, given
in the table 1a «Scheme of ISOFIX
child restraints installation». ISOFIX
child restraint can be installed in your
vehicle only if it meets the require-
ments of European standard ЕСЕ R44.
Caution
You should follow the process
of ISOFIX child restraint installa-
tion and its fasteners, built-in
ISOFIX child restraint, the fasten-
ers should not damage rear
seat’s safety belt.
Operation of ISOFIX child
restraint must be in accordance
with manufacturer’s instruction
of ISOFIX child restraint.
