EXTERIOR LIGHT AND EXTERIOR
LIGHT ALARM INSTRUMENTS
Vehicles are equipped with lights
with headlight glasses that are made
of plastic.
In order not to damage the plastic
headlight glasses when washing, do
not use corrosive and abrasive
cleaners or chemical dilutants.
To avoid blushing and scratching
never wash dried dirt from the outer
surface of the headlight glasses, in
advance water the surface of the
lens properly, for cleaning use a soft
cloth or sponge, do not use sharp
objects to clean the lenses of ice.
Warning
Premature blushing of head-
light glasses lead to poor lighting
of roadway, to distortion of light-
and-shade and dazzle of drivers
by oncoming vehicles.
In very moist hot or cold air, for
example, in heavy rain, when wash-
ing the vehicle condensate water
may appear on the inner surfaces
of glasses of lighting and light-sig-
nal instruments for a short time.
Removing condensate water requi-
res no special measures. The disap-
pearance of condensate water
should occur during operation of the
vehicle, and to speed up this
process, you should switch on
appropriate lighting.
VEHICLE STORAGE
In operation, pay great attention
to the conditions of storage of the
vehicle. The optimal conditions for
storing the vehicle are the following:
– shed, where temperature and
humidity correspond to environmen-
tal parameters, there is a constant
movement of air and there is no
direct impact of solar radiation and
precipitation;
– heated space (garage) with a
temperature of not lower than 5
0
С
and a relative humidity of 50–70%,
equipped with plenum-exhaust ven-
tilation.
If the heated space (garage) is
equipped with ineffective plenum-
exhaust ventilation, and the vehicle is
operated in winter or after washing it
is placed in storage without prior dry-
ing, devastating effect on protective
and decorative coatings increases
repeatedly. It is allowed to store the
vehicle in winter under the shed or in
the unheated room for a long time
under the following conditions:
1. Drain water from the window
washer reservoir.
2. Wash your vehicle and dry its bo-
dy. Apply a preservative on the body.
3. Fully charge the battery, remo-
ve and store it separately.
