Rel. 2.6
8-5.2.40 AT+N
AT+NR – Request the far-end STE to change its displayed security level to the value specified by ”R’” as
follows:
6 – TOP SECRET
5 – SECRET
4 – CONFIDENTIAL
1 – UNCLASSIFIED
Only valid when issued to a remote controlled STE that supports Displayed Security Level Control
(DSLC), is in a secure voice call, and is using STE-210 or SCIP-210 signaling.
If the parameter is invalid or the STE is not in a secure voice call, return the error result code. If the
signaling is not STE-201 or SCIP-210, or the far-end terminal does not support DSLC, returns 447
(SECURITY LEVEL CHANGE NOT SUPPORTED) followed by the 0/OK result code. If the requested
security level is above the maximum or below the minimum negotiated security levels returns 48
(SECURITY LEVEL CHANGE OUT OF RANGE) followed by the 0/OK result code. If the security level is
already at the requested security level, returns 49 (SECURITY LEVEL CHANGE NOT REQUIRED)
followed by the 0/OK result code. Otherwise return 46 (SECURITY LEVEL CHANGE IN PROGRESS)
and waits for the prompt string followed by the VERIFY prompt (see AT+C2).
NOTE
Secure voice traffic is stopped during DSLC processing. Both the far-end
(responder) and the initiator must acknowledge the request, and then, upon
successful completion, secure voice traffic is restored.
8-5.2.41 AT+O[0]
When the terminal is a STE-R without a call active, set bit 7 of register S33 to a “0” and use secure data
as the on-line secure state. Otherwise, send the error result code to the DTE and take no further action.
8-5.2.42 AT+O3
When the terminal is a STE-R without a call active, set bit 7 of register S33 to a 1 and use secure voice
as the on-line secure state. Otherwise, send the error result code to the DTE and take no other action.
8-5.2.43 AT+Q[0]
Set bit 4 of register S14 to a “0” and send messages that would normally be displayed on the top two
lines of the STE Front Panel Display to the DTE. Each pair of display lines are both preceded and
followed by carriage return and line feed characters (as defined by S3 and S4). The display information is
verbose ASCII strings regardless of the S14 register Q and V settings. Display information is only sent
while in the Command and Connecting States.
8-5.2.44 AT+Q1
Set bit 4 of register S14 to a “1” and do not send messages that would normally be displayed on the STE
Front Panel Display to the DTE.
8-5.2.45 AT+S0
Return the Secure Dial status to the DTE as two ASCII characters as follows:
“80” – Secure Dial characters are available
“00” – Secure Dial characters are not available
This command is used by a terminal in Remote Control, responding to a DCD toggle, to determine if
secure dial digits have been received.
NOTE
Dial digits are only available from the time they are received, until the time they are
read by an AT+Z command, or when the call is terminated.
