If REMOTE CONTROL is disabled – advances to CARD PRIVILEGES menu.
NOTES
1. To place the STE into the Remote Control mode, you must enable either
Remote Authentication or the Access Control List.
2. Enabling Remote Control automatically enables Remote Authentication,
unless you changed its default setting. Press
SCROLL
to verify the setting or
to make changes.
3. If you enable Remote Control, you will be able to make changes in the
TERMINAL CONTROL menu, to set either the Front Panel or the Terminal
Under Host Port Control (remote control) options (Paragraph
4-5.1.3.1 Remote Authentication
The Remote Authentication default setting is enabled (see REMOTE AUTHENTICATION: ENABLED
menu,
). Therefore, when Remote Control is enabled, Remote Authentication is also
enabled. The REMOTE AUTHENTICATION: menu can only be reached by the TPA when Remote
Control is enabled and
SCROLL
is pressed in the REMOTE CONTROL: menu (
). The
