displayed unless the card is associated with the STE.

Press CREATE .
8. With the CREATE ASSOCIATION menu ( Figure 4-11 ) displayed, remove the TPA Card by
firmly pressing the CRYPTO CARD EJECTOR BUTTON . Then insert the Fill Card to be
“Associated” with the STE. You can also associate the TPA card with the STE. This card would
be both a TPA card and a User Card.

9. When the designated Fill Card is inserted, press FULL_CIK . Figure 4-13A shows User Card
serial number 20000 inserted in the STE. The TPA for the STE is card 10000. Notice that “CIK
Split A+B” is “unlocked” and classified at the level of the key.
10. Upon completion of the association process, the display presents the Create Association
Complete menu ( Figure 4-12 ).
