6-5. REMOVE TERMINAL/CARD ASSOCIATION
When card privileges are enabled, you may access the REMOVE TERMINAL/CARD ASSOCIATION
menu to remove User Card associations from the STE. The default setting for this function is disabled.

4-5.1.4 .
CAUTION
Before proceeding with this function, make sure the User Card inserted in the STE
is the card to be disassociated.
Only the TPA can re-associate the card once the association is removed (if a carry
card has been created).
Remove any User Card inserted in the STE and insert the User Card to be disassociated.
1. The REMOVE TERMINAL/CARD ASSOCIATION menu ( Figure 6-54 ) is accessed from the
ZEROIZE KEY menu ( Figure 6-51 ) by pressing SCROLL . If the STE is in idle condition, and
card privileges are enabled, it can be accessed by pressing MENU then SCROLL , SELECT ,
USER , SCROLL , SCROLL, and SCROLL .
