Privileges
Using the CARD PRIVILEGES menu (
), the TPA can allow you to remove crypto card
association from a STE. The default setting is disabled, disallowing anyone but the TPA from making
changes to Crypto Card privileges.
The decision to change this setting should be made only by the senior security officer as any user could
disable another from accessing the STE for classified communications if the User Card is available. The
default setting is disabled as shown below.
