Configuration Control
The TERMINAL CONFIGURATION CONTROL menu (
) is comprised of four major
components: Initial Secure Mode, Change TPA Password, Remote Control, and Card Privileges.

4-5.1.1 Initial Secure Mode
The Initial Secure Mode determines whether the STE will automatically initiate a secure call. The process
is started when the STE is taken off-hook. Three modes are available:
•
Traditional: the STE will proceed to a non-secure voice call, unless changed prior to placing
(dialing) the call.
