FMI 7: The film stops when tying activated. The film tears off after starting or during tying.
The brake force release has
not been set correctly for the
feed process. „
Reduce the brake force release, refer to page 149 .
The cutting unit has fallen into
the film. „
Remove deposits from the cutting unit.

Check the setting of the cutting unit.
„ Check whether the cutting unit is engaged/clamped during
the feed process.
The cutting unit is not en-
gaged.
The cutting unit has been set
too deep.
The rotational speed is too
high.

Check the rotational speed. It must not be higher than 540
rpm.

Net wrapping

Adjust the wrapping material brake, refer to page 150
The net is too far in the bale
channel. „ Check the net overhang.

Check the sensor B61 "Tying 1 (passive)" and set the feed

The film overhang is too long. „
Check the film overhang. Ensure that it does not exceed
250 mm.

Feed roller for net wrapping/chamber film wrapping
Possible cause Remedy
FMI 7: The speed of the feed roller is below the minimum when the net is pulled.
The machine is blocked.

Remove the blockage.
The PTO shaft is rotating too
slowly.

Set a higher rotational speed via the tractor on the PTO
shaft.
