Timer TX
Overview of the Timer TX function
Timer TX lets the machine scan the document into memory and transmit it to a
destination at a specified time. This feature enables transmission of a document at a time
when special telephone discount rates may be applicable. This function can help reduce
communication costs.
The timer can be set for up to 24 hours in advance.
How to use the Timer TX function
1. Put the original document face up into the document
feeding tray.
2. Press the Function key.
3. Press ‘2’ from the Numeric keys to select
TIMER TX.
4. From the Numeric keys, enter the time (24-
hour system) at which to transmit the
document.
Example: 11:30 p.m.
→
Press 2, 3, 3, 0.
Press the Yes Key if it is correctly selected.
Press the No/Clear key if you want to change it.
5. Specify the receiving destination to which you want to transmit the document by
Timer TX.
