Utility Functions

Overview of the [Function] Utilities
The Function utilities make your machine more convenient to use. The following eight
functions are available.

BROADCAST
Transmits the same document to two or more parties with
a single operation.

TIMER TX
Scans a document into memory for transmission to the
destination at a specify time.

MAILBOX TX
Transmits a confidential document to a particular person
at the receiving party. The document is stored in the
memory at the receiving end. The entry of a password is
necessary before printing the document.

MAILBOX RX
Receives a confidential document from a particular
person. The document will not be printed until a password
is entered.

POLLING TX
Scans the document into memory, and after the machine
upon receiving a polling transmission command from the
other party, the machine transmits the documents to them.

POLLING RX
Gives a polling transmission command to another fax
which enables it to transmit a document previously stored
in memory.

RELAY
INITIATE
Relay TX allows the operator to make one long distance
call to a remote unit and the remote unit will relay the
message to one or more fax units in local area. With this
function, you can save valuable time and telephone
charges. This function can also instruct the remote fax
machine to send a TX Result report to one of its Speed
Dial location.

CANCEL
RESERV.
Cancels a job, which has been stored in memory for future
transmission, including: Broadcast, Timer TX, Polling TX
and deletes the document from memory. Only jobs that
have not in processing can be canceled.
