Basic FAX Operations

•

 

The header is printed on the area 4 mm from the leading edge of the paper.

Therefore, make sure that the area 4 mm from the leading edge is blank to allow
the contents of the document to be fully transmitted.

•

 

For U.S.A. user, this function is always ON.

TX OPERATION?

   OK=YES / or 1-7

1.

 

Press the Utility key 4 times.

The display changes to the “TX
OPERATION”.

2.

 

 Press ‘6’ from the Numeric keys.

The display now changes to the Header
mode.

3.

 

Press the   or   key to select ON or OFF for
the Header function, then press the Yes key.

4.

 

This completes the Header setting.
Press the Panel Reset key to restore the initial state.

Setting OT-DIAL IN COPY

To prevent the copied original documents in Document Feeding Tray being
transmitted when one-touch key is pressed, this function should be set to "Disable".

1.

 

Press the Utility key 4 times then the display
appears the message “TX OPERATION”.
