The machine has been approved for use on
surfaces with gradients of up to 2%.

Warning
Do not use the appliance on inclines.
Safety devices serve for the protection of the
user and must not be put out of operation or
bypassed with respect to their function.
To put the brush drive out of operation im-
mediately: release the control handle. In
case of BR/BD...W... the drive is also
switched off.
To deactivate all functions: Press emergen-
cy-stop button.

The auxiliary drive gets switched off
when you press the emergency-stop
button.

The emergency-stop has a direct effect
on all machine functions.

The display and battery control display
also get switched off.
Caution
If the emergency stop switch is pressed
during the cleaning operation, then all the
units will be switched off immediately. The
appliance cannot brake immediately.
Hence, the appliance can still move up to
50 cm forward, after the control handle is
released or the emergency stop button has
been pressed.

The procedure for startup after the emer-
gency stop button has been pressed has
been described in the chapter on startup.
