Carefully lay the blade server on a flat, static-protective surface, with the cover
side up.

Press the blade-cover release on each side of the blade server and lift the cover
open.

Lay the cover flat, or lift it from the blade server and store it for future use.

source. Always replace the blade server cover before installing the blade
server.

Install and close the cover of the blade server before you insert the blade server
into the BladeCenter unit. Do not attempt to override this important protection.
