4. Replace any adapters or other components that you might have

removed earlier.

What to do next

1. Replace the server cover; then, reconnect all external

cables and power cords. (See “Completing the
Installation” on page 113 if you need additional
information.)

2. Turn on the monitor and server. When the server is

turned on the first time after replacing the battery, a
battery error message is displayed. This is a normal
result of changing the battery.

3. Use the Configuration/Setup utility program to

reconfigure your server, and to set the date and time.
You also might want to set a power-on password while
you are using the Configuration/Setup utility program.
See “Setting a Power-on Password” on page 26 for more
information.
