Working with Internal Drives

7. Reinstall the cover plate that was shipped with your server.

What to do next

To remove a drive from bay 4 through bay 6, continue
with the next step.

If you have completed removing drives, go to step 13 on
page 94.

To install an internal drive, go to “Installing Internal
Drives” on page 81.

8. Remove the four screws from the drive assembly that contains

bays 4 through 6.

9. Lower the drive assembly from the server. If necessary, you

may disconnect the fan's power connector. For information
about the location of the fan's power connector, see “Locating
System-Board Components” on page 51.
