5 MOTORCYCLE

Remove the plug-in stand

0-

Shift the transmission to idle.

Condition

Ambient temperature: < 20 °C (< 68 °F)

Push the cold start button in all the way.
Press the electric starter button CD.

Info

Press the electric starter button for at most 5 sec

onds. Wait for 30 seconds before a further attempt
at starting.
At temperatures below 15 °C (60 °F), several
attempts at starting may be necessary to warm-up
the lithium-ion battery and thereby increase the
starting power.

During the starting process, the malfunction indi

cator lamp lights up.

Startin the motorcycle to check the function

Danger

Danger of poisoning

Exhaust gases are toxic and inhaling them may result in unconsciousness and

death.

Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation when running the engine.

Use an effective exhaust extraction system when starting or running the engine in an enclosed

space.
