Analog Output Module (8 Channels) Wiring

CAUTION: Hazardous voltages exist at terminal blocks. AO8
modules require at least one channel to be configured prior to a
cold start for the module to work properly. Subsequent channels
then may be added with a hot start. Failure to comply with these
instructions could result in death or serious injury.

Examples of high level Analog Output Module wiring are shown
below. Before installing, be sure to determine power requirements.

Isolation

The outputs are grouped with 4 outputs per group (outputs 1-4, 5-8,
9-12, 13-16). Groups are isolated from each other; outputs are non-
isolated within each group.

Shield Grounding

Shields must be grounded as described under Shield Grounding at
the beginning of this section.
