CAUTION
To prevent possible failures, house the programmable controller in a drip-proof
enclosure in cases where it is feared to be wetted with water.
See Chapter 1 on page 3.
Even if the input voltage of the power supply module falls within a specified
range, assume it to be in an input power abnormality when it is close to the
upper or lower limit of the range, and call upon the power supply facility
manager for a checkup.
See Chapter 1 on page 4.
Choose a power supply matching the rating of a module and connect it to that
module. Connecting an improper power supply to a module can cause the
module to fire.
Parts containing gallium arsenide (GaAs) in a PC or LED are used in this
product. Gallium arsenide is designated as a harmful substance by law.
Use maximum discretion in handling and particularly scrapping the product.
Have a specialized agent dispose of the product as industrial waste.
Use the same power supply for the external power supply (fed to the +V
terminal) of the S10mini output module and for the load power supply. Use of
different power supplies can cause malfunctioning.
Do not use transceivers, cell phones or the like near the system.
Electromagnetic noise interference from such gear can cause the system to
malfunction.
See Chapter 1 on page 8.
To avoid possible failures, allow for at least one second between turning-on
and turning-off of the power switch.
See Chapter 3 on page 25.
Heat may build up inside the enclosure to such a degree that it will cause the
units to fail. Units may malfunction under the influence of electromagnetic
interference from the adjoining units. Allow specified clearances between the
enclosure and each unit and between the units to assure heat dissipation and
lessen electromagnetic interference.
Temperature raises vary depending on the manner of installation. The
mounting intervals specified in the manual should be considered as
recommended values. Perform a test run upon mounting and measure the
temperature around the units to make sure that it is within allowable limits. If
the temperature is higher than permitted, increase the mounting intervals or
provide forced air cooling with a cooling fan.
See Chapter 4 on page 29.
