8.8 Memory
Backup
The user program is stored in the RAM (Random Access Memory) and backed up by lithium
battery at a power outage. Replace the lithium battery before it is over backup guaranteed
time. When the power is turned off while the battery is run down or the battery voltage
becomes low, the contents in the backup memory may be damaged. The backup guaranteed
time varies depending on the CPU module REV and memory capacity (see the following table).
