Free
Chlorine
Level
Free
chlorine
is
the
available
chlorine
found
in
water
to
disinfect
the
water
from
contaminates,
which
prevents
the
water
from
fowling.
If
no
free
chlorine
is
present,
water
can
foul.
Free
chlorine,
in
water,
will
completely
evaporate
within
24
hours
and
the
evaporation
rate
increases
when
the
water
is
exposed
to
the
atmosphere.
Trace
amounts
of
free
chlorine
will
be
filtered
out
through
the
SWS
Deionizing
(DI)
cartridge.
Using
the
free
chlorine
test
strips
provided
in
the
SAB,
test

every
time
the
SMU

and
WRS
are
drained
and
refilled
(e.g.,
every
14
days
or
100
cycles,
whichever
occurs
first).
Follow
the
instructions
listed
on
the
chlorine

the

reads
<

If
the

this
is
an
indication
that
the

2.
If
the

reads
<
0.2
ppm,
it
may
be
necessary
to

treatment
of

If
Steps

have
been
trialed
and
the

continues
to

The

is
not
impacted
by
