Overview
of
Touch
‐
Screen
Operator
Control
Panel
The
P2131
sterilizer
is
controlled
with
an
advanced
programmable
logic
controller
(PLC)
with
a
touch
‐
screen
display
that
performs
pre
‐
programmed
sterilization
cycles
and
performance
tests.
NOTE:
The
following
instructions
assume
that
the
P2131
sterilizer
has
been
set
up,
checked
out,
and
potable
water
is
already
in
the
SMU
and
WRS.

NOTE:
The
“System”
and
“F1”
through
“F3”
buttons
are
disabled.
The
“F4”
button
is
only
used
as
part
of
maintenance
of
the
PLC.
3.3.1
TURNING
THE
STERILIZER
ON:
1.
Flip
up
the
Control
Power
Switch
on
the
front
panel
to
turn
the
sterilizer
ON.
2.
On
the
“CONFIRM
SETUP”
screen,
make
any
necessary
updates
to
the
TIME,
DATE,
or
UNIT
ID.
To
do
so,
touch
the
box
to
the
right
of
the
metric
that
needs
to
be
updated.
A
new
screen
will
appear
where
you
can
make
necessary
updates.
NOTE:
This
screen
will
appear
every
time
the
Control
Power
is
turned
ON.
NOTE:
The
UNIT
ID
function
allows
for
a
unique
identification
to
show
in
the
top
left
‐
hand
corner
of
the
“Log”
screen
after
each
cycle
for
recording
results.
This
can
be
especially
helpful
if
there
is
more
than
one
sterilizer
in
operation.
The
factory
default
for
this
UNIT
ID
is
2131.
This
can
be
changed
as
desired
by
the
user.
