12.5 Changing the filter mats
You need the following parts:
• Filter mats (part of the CAV800 maintenance kit)
1. Open and remove the fan screen on the right and left underside of the analyzer.
2. Remove the used filter mats and replace them with new ones from the maintenance kit.
3. Reattach the fan screens.
4. Select "Menu/Operation/Operating time filter mats/Reset"
12.6 Changing the dispensers
You need the following parts:
1. Rinse the system (see the "Rinsing the system" section).
2. Remove the bottles and the bottle tray.
3. Remove the cover of the carrier board.
4. Select "Menu/Operation/Dispenser replacement/Dispenser selection".
5. Select the dispenser n that you wish to replace, e.g. dispenser 2 and 7 (10 ml) or dispenser
3 and 4 (2.5 ml).
6. Select "Draw up dispenser".
7. Open the dispenser holder by pressing both snap-fit hooks together and removing it.
8. Turn the dispenser counterclockwise to remove it from the liquid manager.
Interval at which the filter mats need to be cleaned:
• Depends on the application; recommendation: every 6 months
Interval at which the filter mats need to be replaced:
• Depends on the application; recommendation: every 12 months
Interval at which the dispensers need to be replaced: every 6 months
• 10 ml dispenser s (S7 = standard)
• 10 ml dispensers (S2 = waste)
• 2.5 ml dispensers (S3 = hose R2; S4 = hose R1)
• 10 ml dispensers with adapter, mounted
Part of the CAV800 maintenance kit
• 2.5 ml dispensers with adapter, mounted
• 1 pair of gloves that are resistant to the reagents used
