NOTICE
The flow of gas through the cell means that any water droplets introduced into the
system will travel through the cell to the front mirror; therefore, it is the front mirror
that is more likely to be contaminated. The mirrors are coated with enhanced nickel and
should be clean and reflective. Cleaning the mirrors with methanol may not visibly
improve the mirror surface, but should improve reflectivity in the mid-infrared band
used by the lasers.

Fit the lid onto the cell and, using a 2.5 mm Allen wrench, secure the lid with the six
socket head cap screws and associated spring washers and flat washers retained in
step 6.

. Fold the top insulation (A) back into position on top of the
analysis cell. Secure the top insulation by folding in the two side flaps (B and D) and
the two end flaps (C). Make sure that the Velcro strips on the inside of the side flaps
and end flaps mate with the Velcro strips on the exterior of the top insulation.

Refit the top cover as described in
Section 7.25

Reinstall the analyzer in the rack. This step requires two people to properly lift and
transport it to the rack.
11.
Apply power to restart the analyzer.
