E-2.1.2 EM-6875 Description
The Model EM-6875 Remote Loop Antenna is designed specifically for use with the
Electro-Metrics Model EM-2115 Interference Analyzer to perform magnetic field measurements
from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. This frequency range covers the first ten RF Frequency Ranges of the
EM-2115 and is automatically switched for optimum operation at the RF Frequency Range se-
lected.
The EM-6875 comprises an approximate 0.4 meter (17-inch) diameter electrostatically
shielded loop mounted on a rectangular base containing the matching networks and control cir-
cuitry. Ten LED indicator lights (numbered 1 thru 10), located on the front of the antenna base,
indicate which of the ten lower frequency RF Frequency Ranges is being used.
A manually-operated version, Electro-Metrics Model EM-6878, is also available.
E-2.1.3 EM-6875 Applications
The EM-6875 is suited for compliance testing to MIL-STD-461C, CISPR recommenda-
tions, plus other government and federal standards. The antenna is designed to operate with the
EM-2115 Interference Analyzer and its calibration chart is based on this usage.
