The Front Panel Assembly is now free for removal from the receiver.
f.
To install the Front Panel Assembly, reverse the above procedure.
4.2.5 Prescaler Module (A12) Removal
a.
Remove the top and bottom covers.
b.
Remove the front panel.
c.
Remove the following cables and connectors.
1)
A12J1 from A12 Prescaler Module.
2)
A12J2 from A12 Prescaler Module.
3)
A12J3 from A12 Prescaler Module.
4)
P9 from A1A3J9 (Microprocessor Board).
d.
Remove the four screws (4-40 x 3/16), two each top and bottom, that secures the
Prescaler Module to the front bulkhead.
e.
The Prescaler Module is now free for removal from the receiver.
f.
To install a Prescaler Module, reverse the above procedure.
4.2.6 Power Supply Assembly (A14) Removal
a.
Remove the four retaining screws (4-40 x 3/16), located at each corner of the as-
sembly, that secure the Power Supply Assembly into the rear of the receiver.
b.
Carefully pull the Power Supply Module away and out from the compartment at
the rear of the receiver until the two cable harnesses are accessible.
c.
Remove following connectors.
1)
P4 from A14J4 Power Supply Assembly.
NOTE:
To remove Plug P4 from Jack A14J4, twist the retaining ring
on the plug to rotate it out of its locked position.
