Loosen the two quarter turn fasteners at the rear of the RF Tuner.

Pull the RF Tuner slightly back, then up and out of the receiver.
f.
To install an RF Tuner, reverse the above procedure.
4.2.2.1 RF Tuner Top Cover Removal
a.
Remove the RF Tuner from the receiver.
NOTE:
The top cover of the RF Tuner can not be removed while the
RF Tuner is secured within the receiver.
b.
Remove the 14 flathead screws (6-32 x 1/4) on the top side of the RF Tuner cover.
c.
Remove the 8 flathead screws (6-32 x 1/4) on the rear side of the RF Tuner cover.
NOTE:
Two of the above screws also secure the quarter turn fastener
brackets to the rear of the RF Tuner. Only the top flathead
screw in each bracket needs to be removed for this procedure.
